The aromas of Aberlour 12 Years Double Cask Matured are fruity with raisin and cherry dominating, accompanied by cinnamon and woody notes. On the palate, butter, caramel, milk chocolate and nutmeg will give us a complex but harmonious sensation, which will be complemented by notes of spices and brown sugar that will make their appearance towards the end. Its aftertaste is persistent, medium length and spicy. Chocolate and raisins will dominate, before the spices come and engage our palate, with nutmeg and ginger taking over. Serve it with ice and enjoy it with good company.
